What is the Base Module (B1)?
The Base Module is the foundation of every Modular Candle. It is the only element that is not stackable and ensures stability while burning. A wick is already included.
For safety and proper function, we recommend adding at least one Base Module to every candle configuration.
What are the stackable Modules (M2–M4)?
Modules 02–04 are fully stackable candle segments. They can be arranged in any order, mixed in colour, and combined in height to create a unique candle composition. Each module connects seamlessly to the next through its central wick-guiding structure.
Can I add multiple Base Modules?
Yes, you can order more than one Base Module. Just keep in mind that each Base Module works only as a foundation and cannot be stacked on top of another. They are meant to be used individually for separate candle setups.
What is the Modular Candle?
A modular candle made from hand-poured wax that can be individually stacked and combined. You define the shape, height, and colour composition yourself – like a transformable object.
What material is it made of?
We use refined, food-grade paraffin combined with a stable wick system for a clean, even burn.
Can I reassemble it once it has been lit?
No – once you’ve decided on a combination and the candle is burning, you should keep it that way, as the wax flows down through the wick opening and fuses the modules together.
What are the best conditions for burning the candle?
Before each use, trim the wick to approx. 5 mm. Avoid draughts and always burn the candle on a heat-resistant surface.
Is every candle the same?
No – each Modular Candle is individually cast. Slight variations in surface or colour gradient are part of the concept and an expression of the craftsmanship.

Are the candles scented?
The collection launches with the scented “Ombre d’Oud”.
Production & Sustainability
Where are the candles produced?
All Modular Candles are made in small batches in Italy.
What packaging do you use?
Recycled and FSC-certified cardboard with minimal printing. Each unit comes with a label providing information about the material and scent.
Is the wax vegan?
Yes, we completely avoid animal-derived ingredients such as beeswax or animal-based stearic acid.
Shipping & Returns
How long does shipping take?
Within Switzerland, 3–7 working days. International deliveries approx. 7–21 days.
Can I return the candle?
Unused items can be returned within 14 days. As each candle is hand-poured, slight variations cannot be accepted as a reason for complaint.
What do I do if something arrives damaged?
Please send a photo of the damaged item and the packaging to orders@ffhomeware.ch
After review, we will replace or refund the item promptly.
